Capita One is going through a major business transformation and their Sales Director left midway through the project. Capita One is a very large and complex business that requires a robust, dynamic sales strategy. Without a sales leader results will be compromised. As a result of this the vacancy was urgent and Capita One wanted someone who could start without a long notice period.
The job is managing a large team of 50 salespeople running a £100m complex local government software business. This Sales Director role would be key to the success of the company and required a strong character/personality. The suitable candidate would have experience in the public sector, know where it is going and how it is changing. They must also have managed complex sales processes.
