Requirements: Senior enterprise sales candidate with vast experience in Unified Communications.

The Role: Focussed on generating new business wins while becoming an integral part of helping the company grow thus managing a team in the APAC region.

Why was the hire important?

After being an integral part of building the company’s presence in the region, the Country Director unexpectedly left. This resulted in Elisa Videra losing momentum in the region. Filling the position effectively was critical as they needed to mend customer relationships.

What was the challenge?

The hiring manager was looking for a very particular skillset with a strong emphasis on the candidate fitting in with the culture seamlessly. As the role is a mix of sales and management, several different approaches were used to find the right candidate.

How did ESP tackle this?

The process began as usual – a sweep of the consultants’ networks in Singapore followed by an extensive LinkedIn search. This resulted in 35 candidates that matched the brief. Further qualification left the consultants with 4 candidates. One of those candidates was hired within 5 weeks.

The outcome

The candidate has made a massive impact on the organisation within a short space of time. As the hiring manager had wanted, they have fit in with the company goals and the culture seamlessly. Due to the success of the candidate, the company are looking to expand the team in the region.
